LUMINEERS

Lumineers® are a proprietary style of porcelain veneers crafted using ultra-thin materials that allow the Lumineers® to attach to front facing tooth surfaces without the removal of tooth enamel. This means that, unlike traditional porcelain veneers, we may be able to undo the Lumineers treatment if you change your mind. Additionally, all of your healthy tooth structure is retained, so this treatment is optimally conservative. The process still takes two appointments like a traditional veneer, but since we don’t have to remove any tooth enamel or place a temporary, the initial visit is much shorter. We simply capture bite impressions and design the cosmetic veneer, and these impressions and designs are sent to the Lumineers dental lab where your custom cosmetic veneers are crafted. Once we receive these custom, high quality Lumineers®, patients return for placement. This appointment is short and almost completely painless. In most cases, patients don’t want or need even topical anesthetic, during the Lumineers process.
